Hanette Lemke graduated with an Honours degree in Physiotherapy from the University of the Free State in 2002.
She spent a year in Bloemfontein Medi-Clinic treating various orthopedic, surgical and intensive care patients, but focused on treating chest conditions of children, toddlers and neonates.She married and moved to George where she joined a busy private practice gaining valuable skills in treating multiple different conditions. In 2006 she completed a post-graduate diploma in Orthopedic Manipulative Therapy (OMT 1).
In 2010 she joined a dynamic practice in Cape Town, focusing mostly on the treatment, rehabilitation and prevention of sports injuries and the general every day back and neck pain. She is busy with the final touches to complete a Masters in Sports Physiotherapy that concentrated on runners and the recovery modalities they use. She has completed various other courses including Dry Needling and Pilates. She has a passion for injury prevention and feels that more can be done to educate sedentary workers and people who love their sport to avoid unnecessary injuries.
