The importance of an initial correct diagnosis cannot be emphasised enough. Hanette Lemke prides herself on her excellent evaluation and clinical skills. Combining proper history taking with clinical knowledge, experience and science based testing to evaluate a patient as a whole; while keeping individual posture, biomechanics and habits in mind. To achieve this level of skill she has done multiple courses, a diploma in Orthopaedic Manipulative Therapy (OMT 1), and a Masters Degree in Sports Physiotherapy.
The correct diagnosis enables physiotherapists to explain to the patient the nature of their condition as well as what could be expected further. It allows the planning of an optimal treatment regime and helps to advise you on injury prevention.
She works closely with other healthcare workers such as doctors, radiologists, podiatrists and chiropractors as well as with Pilates, yoga and personal trainers. This allows her to be part of a multi-disciplinary team, aiming to give you a speedy recovery.
